When we start working with a design brief, the first thing we do is get the crayons out - this allows us to very quickly and easily start to visualise how various concepts will look. The final chosen designs may look completely different to these but it allows us to play around, but more importantly, it enables us to jump on the computer with a very good idea of what we are trying to achieve.
We never go straight to the computer! Only once we're happy with various elements and concepts will we move to the computer to work up some of the visuals.
